Becoming an engineer All teaching, supervision, and course development at DTU is carried out by educators involved in research or innovation activities. This ensures that academic activities are based on the latest scientific knowledge. Academic learning and personal development Our way of teaching stimulates individual and collaborative learning. Students develop their analytical skills through independent study, active participation in discussions, and close collaboration with faculty staff and fellow students. Based on the needs of the business sector, the keywords for all our BEng programmes are: problem-based and application-oriented, interdisciplinary and innovative. Our BSc and MSc degree programmes are research-based and train students in research methods, teach them to adopt a constructive and critical approach to research findings, and to translate new knowledge into technical solutions. Admission and costs Higher education in Denmark is usually provided free of charge for all EU/EEA citizens and for students enrolled in exchange programmes. All other students pay tuition fees. 14 of students enjoy the atmosphere at DTU 96 per cent
