Biotech high-rise DTU Biosustain—Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Biosustainability has relocated its world-leading biosutainability research from Scion DTU in Hørsholm to a new six-storey building—the tallest building at DTU Lyngby Campus. DTU Biosustain aims to develop new knowledge and technologies to help facilitate the transformation from the existing oil-based chemical industry to a more sustainable bio-based society, in which chemicals are produced biologically. biosustain.dtu.dk New setting for research in light DTU Fotonik – Department of photonic engineering is a state-of-the-art research and teaching department in the areas of photons, lasers, LED light sources, and several other light applications. Dark subterranean laboratories are complemented by light and airy ground and first floors with transparent glass walls between offices, research and teaching rooms.
