Company name
DTU 3D Imaging Center
What do we offer?
We are setting up a research infrastructure using X-ray and
neutron imaging to aid in material research and
development. The center is a collaboration between four
DTU departments, DTU COMPUTE, DTU ENERGY, DTU
Mechanical Engineering and DTU Physics. We collaborated
with research from different universities and companies.
We also have close collaboration with large-scale facilities
such as the European Synchrotron ESRF.

Solution
We study the internal structures of materials to provide
knowledge that can be used in the development of material
properties. As part of our setup we are partners in the LINX
project funded by the Innovation foundation. In the LINX
project we work with partner companies to exploit the
advanced in material science coming with the development
of the European spallation source ESS.
What differentiates us?
With the combination of researchers from the four different departments we have a large network at the university
and after the characterization of the internal structures we can connect people to other researchers in order to
advance the development.
What do we look for at the Medico Bazar?
Companies or researchers with an interest in materials internal structures where we can collaborate. Within the
LINX project we have an opening to work with companies not part of the LINX project to demonstrate the use of the
X-ray and neutron techniques in material development.
